How To Stop French Bulldog Farts

 French Bulldog’s Farts Are Terrible!

There once was a Frenchie who farted. Her butt opened wide and she started, to toot something rank, there arose such a stank, her owner thought she 💩 or sharted.

We never like to speak ill of French Bulldogs on this blog, but today it’s different. Frenchies are famous for lots of reasons: bat-like ears, smushed faces, and a cute underbite. But one thing that only really Frenchie owners know is that they’re also known for their toxic farts.

Stealing Hearts and Ripping Farts

Many dog owners are familiar with dog farts, and if they don’t know much about Frenchies, you might try to disagree. But there’s no debate, French Bulldogs have the worst farts. If you’re wondering how to stop French Bulldog farts, then this blog is for you.

The reason why Frenchies have terrible gas is in large part due to their digestive system. Diets make a difference, but also how you feed your dog matters too. If your dog eats too quickly that can be a cause (try a slow feeder bowl, we use it and it works). Some people have also suggested that a little yogurt helps to cut down on the severity of the evil smells that emanate from their poopers.

When my dogs nap, they can’t help but point their buttholes right at my face. I’ve had to be very careful because of this, and learning how to stop French Bulldog farts is something that is necessary for survival. Learn from my mistakes and from the sacrifices I’ve made swimming in the toxic clouds of Frenchie Bull💩.

I have had good luck with my boys with this Blue Buffalo Wilderness dog food. It also isn’t a very stinky food. Blue Buffalo has a good reputation from everything I’ve researched. I also use Diamond Pet Foods brands. Please note, I get a commission when you use these Amazon links, but I only recommend products I truly believe in, that’s why this blog exists! Where else can you learn important stuff like how to stop french bulldog farts?

Frenchies have very sensitive digestive systems, so it’s important to feed them a healthy diet. They also swallow a lot of air because they’re a brachycephalic breed, and that’s part of why they fart more than other breeds. If they’re eating too fast then that could also be a big problem. I use this bowl, and this bowl at dinnertime to help slow my Frenchies down. They both work great!

This website listed some of the foods you may want to avoid feeding them:

  • Beans
  • Soy
  • Dairy (cheese, milk, & yogurt)
  • Broccoli, peas, and other green vegetables
  • Cauliflower
  • Corn & starch
  • Cheap dog food

It should go without saying then that feeding your dog table scraps is a no no. But if you do anyway, make sure to know which foods are safe and won’t cause your dog stomach problems. A little dry activated charcoal can also help.

And finally just like in humans if dogs sit around and get fat they get gassy. Try taking your dog on some nice walks! Losing weight will help cut down of flatulence, and make you AND your bulldog less fat and stinky.

Too many beans, and this could be you
